@tkflex oh i see…have to wait another month to get this “-.- and wth ? i dont get how a low-priced netbook can run games that well ? and HD movies !
@khalos666 Even on 64 Bit OS there is Still a 3.5GB limitation with the 1201N. This is why ASUS Still called the 1201 EEE PC because it is mistaken as a NOTEBOOK but it is classified as a NETBOOK. Nvidia ION rocks!!!
@tkflex isnt that because a 4GB Ram needs a 64 bit OS to run perfectly ? so a 32 bit doesnt use the full 4GB
@brianmef
WRONG! There is actually a 3.5GB limitation which is 3584 mb -(subtract 256 mb for Nvidia ION = 3.25 GB (3328 mb) “usuable”
Therefore the BIOS will recognize 4GB (4096MB) – Subtract 3.5GB (3584 mb) = 512 MB is being UNUSED! This is significant lost of 25% which means only 75% of memory is being used.
FYI 1GB = 1024MB
@tkflex — this is because the video shares the memory, so you won’t see a full 4gb of memory
@racketer
depends on what you are looking for is a factor for you? Price? Size? Battery life? Power perfomance? Gaming?
but you cant have all, trust me.

interesting what you say. Well you seem like you have a lot of knowledge. I currently have an asus 1008ha. It’s processor is not fast at all. Slow bwosing the internet and youtube videos are choopy. What do you think i should purchase for good performance? What do you think of the Asus UL30A. Good deal on carphone warehouse its going for 350pounds. But then you don’t get the graphics processor but would you think it would be good enough performer with the 1.3 dual core compared to this 1.6 dual
@DXRunescape damn i should sue them lol
