I have the white and black otterbox and i love it! my favorite case and the only one i really ever use anymore
I thought it was great at first, but it sucks! I thought I was covered when I had my phone in this case in my pocket for about an hour when it was raining, but it turned out that water got inside and killed my phone.
I knew the case wasnt waterproof, but they do advertise it as water resistant, which is BS. They suck!
I have this case. It’s pretty badass.

I work in construction and have this otter case. I apparently have water damage even with this case. Useless, and so is the icare package.

@olivkaro Hey there.. no, this case is not waterproof at all. It mostly is designed for drop protection and to keep dirt away from your phone.

@BigNaasty I wrote to Otterbox and complained about the holster. They knew it was a problem and had already redesigned. They sent me a new one for free! It looks like they made the little knobs that snap into the sides a little bigger but it works great! Excellent customer service!

great review I have a black silocone w/ black plastik and it is for sure an everyday case for me=) I also wanted to point out that the clip can be used to sit the phone up on a table for ez viewing by setting the phone in screen out and pulling the clip all the way till it clicks. and u have a new subsriber!!!!! =)
@kari0901 Thanks for the comment. Yeah, it is a little bulky but it offers the most protection of any case I’ve used. Otterbox also makes a case called the “commuter” which looks similar to the defender but it’s thinner and doesn’t have a built in screen shield.
