To acess net…u need to swtich on the data traffic :)

Can anyone tell me…why i cannot access internet on this, it just shows the error message whenever i try, what do i need to do, to get it working…do i need to turn on the wi-fi and/or data traffic?…..or something else….i HATE this phone right now…THIS PHONE IS NOT SIMPLE AT ALL….Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know if “rooting” can be reversible and how?
Please let me know. or rather tell me the pros and cons? because Im getting the Xperia from someone that has already rooted it and Im not really sure what that means, except that its like ‘jailbreaking’ an ipod?

i tried according to ur instructions to root my xperia x10. Build Number R2BA026 , i am always getting the following error at the first step
Exception in thread “main” java.lang.NullPointerException etc…
DeviceID program shows only one ID number. and I used that number.
and I already checked and changed the Java environment variables.
I don’t have no idea what is wrong. if u can help me,please give me advices. thanks

hey i done everything u said and flashed it pulled the cable out when it was finished and turned it on like u said now i have nothing but the sony ericson words at the start up and it goes no further????? hellppppppppppppppppp plz

hey ive tried doing what u say from both the old root install and the new updated 1 i just cant find my device id it wont show up in the reg edit????? ive got the latest software update and still wont do it , my phone is mounted on the usb to the computer , any reason y it wont show up , is there some thing i should be on or something on the phone ?? pls help cheers

I successfully rooted my phone with the older video can I just do this one now expecting everything to work. If I can will I lose any data or will everything function the same?

Hi gne0n! Well I´ve tried several times and i get two problems. 1. In the DeviceID it says “String Index out of range: -1″ and then a blank window opens. 2. (i manage to get the ID through regedit) once i get the firmware of step1 and open step 2 it always says “error: device not found”. Can you please help me? Don´t know if it matters but i bought it in Europe. Thanks in advance.
