@Shintsu2 Hey, sorry for the delay in answering your question.. Yes, I have purchased slider type cases on ebay and its not worth it.. they are awful.. If you want a slider case, stick with the incase slider or check out rebelscholar slider cases which I really like.

Aw, I bet this means those cheap InCase slider cases I see on eBay for $15 are fakes. Have you had any experience with fakes of those or how to tell? I saw some where the interior plastic was non-matching factory colours but that was the only way. InCase wants too much on their site after shipping ($35 for the case + $9 for shipping – $43, ouch!) but I don’t want a fake!

lol, Well to be honest, I actually like the way the fake one fits on my iPhone compared to the real one.. it is very hard to tell the difference though.. thanks for the comment!

Damn, I bought 2 of those, 1 for me and 1 for selling purpose. I don’t regret buying this, as it only was 9$ each and free shipping.
The differences between the real and fake are not that big. As you saw, it fits perfectly (even my screen shield that is not aligned perfectly bended) as it is made to fit to the milimeter.
Overall, it is worth it. (even as we speak, I droped it and I’m glad I have it on).

I hear ya.
I guess its each to their own.
I’m the kinda of person who hates having to spend 500-600 on a phone and then try to save 20-30 bucks on the case which would help prevent scratches and might offer a bit better protection if you happen to drop the phone since it uses better materials. But hey if u’re happy with what you have then who am i to tell you whats good for you.
Like I said to each their own.

Yeah, I have a couple of the fake ones too and they do fit just fine. I think that’s why its so hard to tell the difference between the real and fake, they are very similar. Thanks for the comment.

i have a fake version of the case and i dunno..it seems to be working just fine for me. i’m not seeing the need to get the authentic version especially since the main difference just seems to be that i’d be paying twice as much for the ‘real’ one.

Wow, that is awesome.. and to think, I just review products on here because I like to.. its fun and a hobby of mine, but when I get a comment like yours that has actually helped someone, that makes this whole thing worth it.. I didn’t have the slightest clue that they were both fake and real cases out there.
I have watched close to 50 videos on you tube about the best case for my 3GS and I decided on the Seidio Innocase. I was just about to order it of Ebay but I guess your video saved me a few bucks. Thank u for taking the time to raise awareness about fake products.
I went to Seidio’s online store and bought it for $29.99 + shipping.
Now I’m content that I will be getting the real deal.

Thank you so much. I spent a week going crazy to find the best case for my iPhone 3gS and decided on the Seidio. I never would of dreamed fake caes existed but I guess the market for these cases is pretty large. Luckily mine checked out to be real (capital lettters on back, correct cardboard insert with directions on back, and a perfect camera hole). People have seen mine and liked it enough to go out and buy one. Now I need to warn people to make sure they know where it’s coming from.

@ choch0 I got an answer back from Seidio. They said they are not able to start replacing counterfeit cases at their expense. They did recommended you contact the seller and make them aware that you received a fake Seidio Innocase. Thanks

Nice comparison between both fake and real case! Glad you feel the same way as me! Fakes are ok, but not when they try to copy packaging and all that! Keep up the great videos!

@drockflorida Ahh, I was thinking so. It’s surprising if you start looking around how many places actually sell those fakes, there were even sellers of them on Amazon too I think. The only good source is their website but I couldn’t justify that much money so I just went with a SwitchEasy. Thanks for letting me know though, I’ll be sure to only buy a legit looking InCase if I get one in the future. Your videos are very helpful btw!
