More and more college students are self-centered and narcissistic, according to a study from San Diego State University. Researchers indicate that today’s generation of college-aged adults may be thinking more of themselves. From 1982 to 2006, psychologists examined the results of more than 16,000 college students who participated in the Narcissistic Personal Inventory test. Based on students responses like “If I ruled the world it would be a better place.”, researchers say more than 75 percent of the participants had above-average scores and are therefore more self-centered. This statistic is 30 percent higher than when the test was originally administered 15-years ago.
