this geoff was too full of himself -doesn’t understand a game for mature players – he needs to go back to simple stories like halo and basic generic gameplay

ok, i bought this game for $11 it may be bad BUT its worth $11 it will give you somethign to do in your boring life for a few days.

haha .. its amazing that three years on and this story is still up there … I remember the gamespot forum inflating very very quickly after this happened. What I really heard is that this didn’t necessarily get him fired, but it probably helped the decision.
And yes, GS took a serious serious toll after this, maaan, GS used to be the thing.. on the plus side, without this there probably won’t be any giant bomb today, which is a neat website to have a look at after your usual GS round up.

@ONA5252 You should have been sentenced to 2 years of playing Big Rigs: Over the road racing. You will never find anything good about that game.

@120Vanquish120 There’s a story in Gears, as unrevealing as it is, but the fact that it reveals virtually nothing while Kane and Lynch is making an active, albeit failed attempt at story and still manages to get it wrong, that just makes it worse. Here’s hoping K&L 2 isn’t a total screwup like the first, though, even if it’s now a complete clone of Gears.

@thecomposer100 Kane and Lynch is a game for noobs. I’ve got this game and beat it on Morphine in two hours. Total bullshit compared to REAL action games like GTA or Gears of War. Even the story goes to shit halfway through. If you think this is a great game, you need to go back to playing Halo. You’d be right at home with the rest of the

@KoH4711 the online is fun you can really get into the whole betray thing and getting money while watching your back and he said it only had one bank as if it only had one map when it has multi maps.
